xinhao had a pretty simple life growing up in china. his parents ran a big company and made a good amount of money for them to live more than comfortably. xinhao had always been outgoing, constantly befriended everyone, even those who didn't like him, mostly because he was naive in their dislike of him. he would always go and do things with friends, even if it was something he didn't like or hadn't tried before just to be around people.xinhao had a fixation on harry potter as a kid, which is where he learned most of his english. along with this, he was put into dance classes at a young age, and he grew to adore dancing and everything about it. when he was in his last bit of high school, he begged his parents to let him attend an international online school. he had felt bored of regular school, everything coming pretty easy to him. he always wanted to push himself in his schooling, which led to his parents agreement to being in the online school.when high school was coming to an end, xinhao was unsure of what he wanted to do after. he loved dancing, and after learning english, he had some thoughts of traveling abroad. he had did some research on what he could do, and he finally settled on going to university in america. he hoped that he would eventually be able to land more dancing gigs if he had a degree, and he could teach around the world with him knowing english. it was his dance teacher who advised him on taking a minor in kinesiology to learn how to take care of his body to prolong his career.

xinhao has a tendency to let his activities slip out when conversing with anybody he can find. this doesn't bode well when the parties he attends ends up getting broadcast to the wrong kinds of people. the police arriving always being brought by xinhao in one way or another. he was put on a informal party ban in the sense that nobody was inviting him to parties for awhile. you happen to have become close friends with xinhao and one thing led to another and he had heard about a party you were attending. he begs you to bring him with, and you tell him he can on one condition. he keeps his damn mouth shut.

xinhao found schoolwork to be very important, especially at the uni level. so when he has a paper due, he needs to get it done straight away. however, you're a bad influence, and there's something going on that you keep claiming xinhao needs to attend. xinhao has plenty of time to finish the work, right?

coming from china where drinking is legal at 18, xinhao sometimes forgets about the 21+ rule in america. plus, with all the parties he attends, everyone is always drinking, so it's easy for him to forget. so when he was given alcohol in a brown paper bag as a gift to lift his mood after a hard test, he doesn't bat an eye to drink it in a secluded area of campus. well, it wasn't secluded enough, and you found xinhao not even trying to hide the alcohol he had been drinking.
notes :: up for discussion if you are nice or not about it. can see super strict professor taking the bottle or easy going professor warning to be professional but understanding, either way really.
